Delayed Life Syndrome.

If you notice yourself “living” in the future, not having realistic goals and often thinking of yourself as a failure (because you haven’t reached them)– then you probably experience a form of a “delayed life”.

The postponed life syndrome is named after the fact that the individual who is affected by it prefers to fantasize about the future rather than live in the present. He decides to postpone his life for a later day.

We put off the best, most exciting, and most beautiful things for another day. Simultaneously, we forget that day X. may not arrive, and you have lost a day, month, or year of your life, putting off good feelings for later...

People, who constantly puts things off, and say to themselves phrases like that: "it's for a holiday," "I'll wait for a special occasion," "I'll rest after retirement," etc. suffer from the delayed life syndrome.

It all comes from a deep childhood and low self-esteem. Parents often impose these views on their children, and then children do the same on their children.

This syndrome can be compared to a road to "nowhere". The person wants nothing, they only do that he or she is urged. Such a person is completely miserable because life is passing by him or her.

Thousands of people hate their school, their university, their job, the country they live in. Yet they continue to do nothing, complain about life, and continue to postpone pleasant and important things in life. When a person of this kind is sad, he or she begins to fight depression by gorging on foods, which leads to health issues.

Love yourself, value every day you have, dress beautifully for yourself, not for the purpose of anything or someone else, live each day as if it were your last, for life is so unpredictable that we never know what awaits us tomorrow!!.
